Bond Law recently hosted the launch of the book Internationalisation of Law: Legislating, Decision Making, Practice and Education, edited by Emeritus Professor Mary Hiscock and Professor William van Caenegem.

LEGAL SKILLS EXTERNAL COMPETITIONS DINNER

The Faculty has hosted a number of functions over the past few months to both celebrate the achievements of the past and build new opportunities for the future.
In celebration of the achievements of our remarkable student teams over the year, Acting Director of Mooting Louise Parsons hosted the 2010 Legal Skills External Competitions Dinner.
The evening was an opportunity to also recognise the many staff members who offered support and coaching to each of the teams, with special thanks going to Lee Stuesser, Kylie Fletcher-Johnson and Ian Stevens and of course 2010 Mooting Directors Joel Butler and Louise Parsons.
Justice Kirby has been confirmed as the special guest for the 2011 event, which will from now on be known as the “Kirby Dinner”. |

FAMILY MEDIATION DVD

The Centre has produced a training DVD “Tony and Kate - Family Mediation”, featuring John Wade, Pat Cavanagh, Kathy Atkins and Libby Taylor. It shows a mother and father in conflict over child support, time with their young child, and interfering relatives. | |

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR JOHN LESSING
It was with great sadness that we farewelled our dear friend, colleague and teacher, Associate Professor John Lessing, last month.
John passed away suddenly on Saturday November 20 and was farewelled by many of the Bond community at the New Life Uniting Church on November 25.
