Colleagues and Faculty friends,
Once again the September trimester has been one of success for the Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty. The diversity of the Faculty is one of its great strengths and this, as always, is demonstrated by the breadth of success stories of staff and students reported in the Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty News.
2008 has been another year of growth and achievement for the Faculty in many areas and we look forward to continuing this in 2009.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all members of the Humanities and Social Sciences community for their hard work, dedication and support throughout the year and wish everyone a joyful festive season and a happy and prosperous new year.
Kind regards,
Raoul
Raoul Mortley Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
