Australian Business Schools Alumni Annual Dinner and Dance Welcome to the 2009 UK Alumni Annual Dinner and Dance. We are pleased to announce the historic HMS President (1918) as our venue for this year’s event. Moored on the Embankment next to Blackfriars Bridge this Anchusa class corvette of the Royal Navy was built in World War 1. The ship served as part of a small class of convoy protection ships built to look like merchant ships to attract and destroy German U boats. HMS President is listed on the National Register of Historic Vessels. We are still awaiting confirmation from a well known and highly acclaimed individual to be our guest speaker at this year’s event. Be sure to book early so you don’t miss out.
