To recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of staff, the annual staff awards were announced at the Information Services Christmas Party on 14th December 2007.
Gail White was presented an award for her thoroughness and determination in negotiating favourable agreements with the vendors of library resources. Gail’s work in supporting Liaison Librarians by providing a plethora of spreadsheets and usage information to assist in selection decisions was also acknowledged.
The Applications Team of Luke Bateup, Michael Fraser, Ian Proctor and Daniel Ross were presented a team award for their work on the Staff Directory which has created an easy searchable directory of all Bond University staff including their personal staff profiles. Staff can now log in and easily update their own profiles. This article is an extract from the Bond University newsletter.
