The month kicked off with another successful graduation ceremony featuring an Occasional Address from the CEO of Gold Coast Tourism and Bond University graduate, Mr Pavan Bhatia. He encouraged graduates to uphold their enthusiasm, to refrain from complacency and to "think big and act small". In a major coup for Bond University, Nobel Prize winner Professor Myron S. Scholes, co-author of the highly respected Black-Scholes financial model, delivered a public seminar on campus yesterday.
In his one and only public address during his current visit to Australia, Professor Scholes spoke on risk transfer, liquidity, and the role of hedge funds to a gathering of over 300 people. | |

LAW SCHOLAR COMBINES STUDY WITH PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE

St Hilda’s Anglican School graduate Madison Bone is currently enjoying her first year at Bond University on the Gold Coast after becoming one of the first students in Australia to receive a Corporate Scholarship.
A new addition to the Bond University Scholarship Program, the Corporate Scholarship sees Ms Bone sponsored and mentored by one of Australia's leading law firms, Clayton Utz, allowing her to combine her study with real-world experience. | |
