Since its inception 20 years ago, Bond University has fostered a proud tradition of public speaking.
Public speaking is a discipline that, when executed well, can enhance professional and civic opportunities, instill personal confidence, and break down communication barriers. Bond has always supported robust discourse, whether through mooting, mock trials or election debates, allowing students to explore opinions, share ideas and challenge their peers.
A new chapter in Bond’s longstanding tradition of public speaking was created this month with the unveiling of the ADCO Amphitheatre by Dr Trevor Rowe, AM, Chairman of Bond University’s Board of Trustees.
Named after sponsor ADCO Constructions, the amphitheatre will seat more than 400 people and boast facilities including change rooms, lighting and state-of-the-art audio/video equipment.
