BOOK LAUNCH
|
In September last year a Cocktail Reception was held in the Main Library to celebrate the launch of the book, Clinical Thinking: Evidence, Communication and Decision Making, the latest published works of Professor Chris Del Mar (Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine, Bond University), Associate Professor Jenny Doust (University of Queensland) and Professor Paul Glasziou (University of Oxford).
We were delighted to have the opportunity to have all three authors on hand to discuss their latest book. Already in its second print run, Clinical Thinking provides the missing link between evidence and the clinical coalface, allowing you to think both logically and laterally about daily clinical issues and to look at problems from different angles.
Professor Chris Del Mar and Professor Paul Glasziou also celebrated the release of the second edition of their Evidence-Based Medicine Workbook, which has been applauded for its well thought out processes and structure.
We are also pleased to announce that Associate Professor Jenny Doust will be joining our staff here at Bond on 1st April this year. |

It gives me great pleasure to update the Bond community about the outcomes of a number of projects accomplished in the last six months. The success of these projects is due to the perseverance of not only the Information Services staff, but also everyone else who contributed across the campus.
