High school graduates from Cairns to Tasmania are enjoying their first year at Bond University and lapping up the Gold Coast sunshine after receiving scholarships to study at the University.

Health Officials from The Zhejiang Province Bureau of Health in China with Professor OlleyA delegation of Chinese health officials arrived at the Gold Coast last week to study Australia’s public health system.

Nineteen senior officials from the Zhejiang Province Bureau of Health in China completed a five-day course at Bond University’s Centre for Executive Education, entitled "Contemporary Issues in Australian Health Care Management".

The 2007 Bond University Careers Fair, held in the Princeton Room on March 22, was an outstanding success, with more than 40 employers and 300 students and Alumni attending. (There were 43 employer exhibitors manned by about 112 staff).

Matthew HooperEYES ON THE BAR

Caulfield Grammar School graduate Matthew Hooper’s list of achievements is long and growing.

After achieving an impressive ENTER score of 99.75, Matthew was awarded a Vice-Chancellor’s scholarship to the prestigious Bond University on the Gold Coast, where he commenced his studies in Law, International Relations and Chinese language in 2005. Since then, he has featured on the Vice-Chancellor’s list every semester, most recently winning the award for most outstanding student in the Law Faculty.
