FROM THE VICE-CHANCELLOR

Professor Robert Stable

We at Bond were delighted to add another feather to our cap this month, with news that the University has been named as one of Queensland’s top five private enterprises in the annual Queensland 400 list.

The list – which celebrates the contributions and achievements of the State’s leading home-grown, privately-held institutions – lauded Bond as the highest-placed ‘New Entrant’ and fifth overall.

To be recognised as a Queensland benchmark has capped a truly tremendous year for Bond; a year in which we celebrated our 20th Anniversary and were once again the highest rating Australian university in the Good Universities Guide.

HENRY NORRIS
International Relations / Law

For Henry Norris, catching up with St Ignatius College Riverview Old Boys, Alex Smith and Will Marsh, at his Year 12 retreat in Sydney turned out to be a life-changing encounter for so many reasons.

Hearing Alex and Will’s stories about studying at Bond University and living on the Gold Coast prompted Henry to apply for one of Bond’s prestigious Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships.

“Alex and Will were the leaders at my retreat and over the course of the four days I heard a lot about Bond’s fast-tracked, three-semesters-per-year calendar, state-of-the-art facilities and international focus,” said Henry.
