It was with great pride that I joined around 150 fellow members of the Bond Community to celebrate the achievements of the previous year at the Chancellor’s annual Community Presentation last Friday.
The presentation followed an Annual General Meeting, where the 30 representative members of Bond University Limited were presented with the 2007 Annual Report.

Professor Garry Marchant has been appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost of Bond University.

Eighth Owen Dixon Society Dinner
The Owen Dixon Society is made up of law teachers, students and practitioners of law who support the ideals of a University Education in Law put forward by Sir Owen Dixon.
The Eighth Owen Dixon Society Dinner will be held on Thursday 19 June in conjunction with Bond Law Week. The guest speaker is The Hon. Justice Michael Kirby AC AMG.

JULIEN WELL SET UP FOR A CAREER IN THE U.N.
Bachelor of International Relations Alumnus Julien Pellaux has all the right ingredients for a career with the United Nations: Born in Switzerland, he studied his Bachelor degree in Australia, undertook an internship with the Brazilian consulate, completed his final semester as an exchange student in the USA and, since graduating in May 2002, has lived in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and New York.
